Our board-certified gastroenterologists specialize in diagnosing and treating the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and liver. 

We treat a number of common gastrointestinal diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux, Barrett’s esophagus, swallowing disorders, ulcer disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, varices, viral hepatitis and many others.   We also work with patients to evaluate and control symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases or problems, including abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, indigestion and swallowing difficulties.

From initial consultation to post-procedure follow-up, each member of our board-certified team provides diagnostic surgical procedures and specialized procedures such as Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to meet the special needs of our patients.

Our team collaborates with referring physicians to assess and effectively treat our patients. Each patient is complemented by our close relationship with Condell Medical Center, the University of Illinois Medical Center, and Vista Health System. In addition, patients are often seen in our adjacent and Joint Commission-certified Winchester Endoscopy Center. The Winchester Endoscopy Center provides comprehensive medical services in a convenient, comfortable environment with levels of care equivalent to a hospital-based setting.
